When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4
There are many believers who are still scared of the rapture; of being left behind. They live in constant fear. Every time they fall into sin, their hearts are filled with guilt and condemnation. They’ve been told, that once a believer sins, he is out of fellowship with God. And they think, “I might as well go all the way, since I’m no longer in fellowship with God”. Thus, believers are kept in the bondage of self effort, human logic and reasoning.
The text above states that if Christ is your life, you will appear with Him (Christ) in glory when He appears. The criteria for appearing with Christ in rapture, is that He should be your life.
This is apart from good works and human effort. What preceded the exchange of life, i.e. Christ’s for ours? Was it by anyone’s self effort? You are saved by grace through faith, not of yourselves, lest any man should boast.
So when Christ who is your life appears, you will appear with Him in glory. Beloved this is an assurance of salvation; that the life you now possess is Christ’s.
John 6:40 states, “And this is the will of Him that sent me, that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day”. Do you have eternal life-God’s life? Beloved, those that possess the Christ life, will be raised by Jesus on the last day.
Prayer: I possess the God kind of life, I have been redeemed. Because Christ is my life, I can’t be disadvantaged. In Jesus’ name. Amen
