So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” Galatians 3:11
Believers are taught not to trust in their hearts anymore, based on the verse, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” Jeremiah 17:9.
Beloved, once you are born again, you become a totally new specie. The “very” righteousness of God is imprinted on your heart: a new heart of flesh, that connects you directly to God. The issue is that believers are not been told or reminded of this fact constantly or as often as they should.
The Bible states in Colossians 3:6 “Let the word of God dwell in your heart richly in all wisdom….singing with grace in your heart”. The believer has to “let” or “allow” the word of God dwell in His heart. What differentiates a babe from a mature believer is, how well they can use the doctrine of righteousness. The more they know that they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus apart from their works; the more they awake to this righteousness and they would sin not.
The way to deal with sin, is not making the believer more conscious of sin, but to cause them to become more conscious of the righteousness they have, in Christ Jesus. Beloved, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am conscious of this in Jesus Name. Amen
