For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:8 NET
Beloved, God’s grace is excessive; it’s unending. But, one might wonder why some enjoy its benefits and some don’t. Grace comes to the humble. People have equated humility with slumped shoulders, long faces or wearing dark clothes. These are not evidences of humility.
According to our Father, being humble is synonymous with rest i.e. casting all anxieties, worries, once and for all, on him (1 Peter 5.7 AMP). We cannot receive grace, if we are proud- holding onto our own opinions, our concerns instead of Christ’s. Grace is ever available and ready to help but we need to be childlike to receive this gift.
1 Peter 5.7 is a common scripture and most believers quote it without realizing its significance. It’s the key to humility, to being exalted by our Daddy God. For if we cast all those fears and anxieties on him, we receive His grace and honour; becoming objects of envy (Psalm1.1-2 AMP).
Enter into His rest today; let God lift you up financially, physically, spiritually – in your marriage, finances etc. Rest in Grace’s arms and watch Him exalt you.
Prayer: My Daddy God, I receive your grace to be more childlike in believing you and casting all my cares once and for all on you. I’m Grace Exalted in Jesus Name.
