For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:8 NET
Apostle Paul laid emphasis on the workings of Grace in his letters to the churches. Today, this has been de-emphasised and some individuals even say that “too much” Grace can lead people astray or into sin.
Beloved, Grace is already too much; that’s why it is God’s undeserved favour on man (Romans 5.16-17). Believers can’t do anything without the Grace of God; our reigning in life depends on it. This is the new covenant; where our journey began at the cross.
“Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more” (Romans 5.20). The law manifested man’s weakness; how helpless he is against sin. But Grace shows the magnitude of God’s love: no matter how great those sins are, His Grace outweighs it all.
Prayer: Thank you my Daddy God for your manifold grace. I yield my life to the workings of your grace in Jesus Name. Amen.
